Wagon Wheel Ranch

I wanted to let you know that I had a wonderful experience with Wagon Wheels Stables this past weekend. I have been a resident of the Peninsula since 1970. I have never considered myself an equestrian. In fact, I have ridden a horse only twice before. My wife and I, along with two of my children, took a one hour trail ride with Pat and his sidekicks on December 19, 2009. I was impressed not only with their skill and expertise but their concern for our safety and the preservation of the natural environment. I think their presence is an asset to "the hill" and perhaps more residents and visitors should take advantage of the service they provide. Respectfully, S. R. Weinstein MD

Wagon Wheel Ranch Horseback Ride

I would like to take a moment to tell you what a wonderful time I had in your beautiful neighborhood yesterday. I was transported to the wide open old west by riding the bridle paths of Palos Verdes with Pat of Wagon Wheel Ranch. I haven''''t been on a horse in 35 years and my experiences with "rental horses" have not been great until now. My horse, "Twister", was no slouch and he responded very well to my rusty commands. "Pat" and "Jimmy", the guides, were standing by to give me some helpful pointers and before long I was on happy trails and enjoying the beauty and freedom of the ride. Pat even took some photos with my digital camera that make me really look like I knew what I was doing. I can''''t wait to do this again and I really recommend the Wagon Wheel Ranch Horseback Rides to everyone.
