DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING COMMITTEE Develops marketing and branding opportunities for the Chamber. Works with the business community to improve the economic climate on the Peninsula, encourages community to shop, dine and do business locally. Organizes education programs for the business community in partnership with Palos Verdes Library District. Chair and Board Representative: Liz Griggs Meeting date/time: Quarterly/as needed SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE Organizes two events: Salute to Business dinner recognizing businesses of the year and Installation of Board of Directors; and Citizen of the Year dinner. Chair and Board Representative: Shawn Nejad Meeting date/time: As needed STREET FAIR AND MUSIC FESTIVAL COMMITTEE Organizes annual Palos Verdes Street Fair and Music Festival held on the second weekend in June.
